Creation of the United Nations Organisation

United Nations Day raises awareness about the goals and achievements of the United Nations to invite public support for its activities. Currently, 193 countries are members of the United Nations and the General Assembly of United Nations. The organisation’s main bodies are: the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, and the International Court of Justice. It also has some specialised institutions that international organisations engaged in social and humanitarian activity (UNESCO, WHO, FAO, IMF, ILO, UNIDO and others).
