Launch of the interplanetary station Luna 1

The launch and flight of the three steps of the rocket 8К72 with the automatic interplanetary station Luna 1 went all right. Luna 1 reached a heliocentric orbit at a distance of 500,000 kilometres from Earth becoming the first man-made satellite of the Sun with a period of rotation of approximately 450 days.
