May 2020

World Press Freedom Day or World Press Day is an annual reminder to the international community that the freedom of press and the freedom of speech are fundamental Human rights, stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our aim is to protect these rights, as they form the basic principles of democracy and have a real impact on people’s lives around the world. World Press Day gives a great opportunity to the international community to pay tribute to the professional mass media workers who died while performing their duties.
