Day of the Seafarer

This holiday celebrates members of the merchant navy who, unlike members of the military navy, had not had their day up until 2010. Day of sea and river fleet have traditionally been observed by people who had little sea fearing experience. Statistics show that 80% of all trade in the world is carried out by the merchant navy.
