Korban Bairam or Eid al-Adha (festival of the sacrifice) is part of Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. It is celebrated in the Mina Valley near Mecca on the 10th day of the 12th month of the lunar-based Islamic calendar Dhu al-Hijjah and lasts for 2 or 3 days.
