World Savings Day

World Savings Day is celebrated every year on 31 October in commemoration of the 1st International Savings Bank Congress. The Italian Professor Filippo Ravizza declared this day "International Savings Day". The idea was that all banks could be open and people would be able to put their savings in the banks.
